Welcome to the Topeka Symphony League

What we do—

♦  Plan and conduct the annual Topeka Symphony Ball and Auction, our major fund raiser
♦  Provide ushers and greeters for TSO concerts
♦  Assist in pre- and post-concert receptions and dinners
♦  Provide ushers and greeters for Youth Ensemble concerts
♦  Provide monitors for Youth Ensemble auditions and Youth Talent auditions
♦  Host a welcome reception for the first fall TSO rehearsal
♦  Assemble treats for Youth Ensemble rehearsals twice a year
♦  Host receptions for Youth Ensemble concerts
♦  Assist TSO office with mailings and record keeping
♦  Provide ushers for a Sunflower Festival concert

The Topeka Symphony League is a voluntary, non-profit organization which supports the Topeka Symphony Society and its goals through fund-raising projects, educational programs and audience development.

Our major fund-raising event in recent years has been the annual Symphony Ball. Funds generated by this event are donated to the Symphony Endowment Fund and are also used to sponsor concerts and artist positions in the orchestra. In addition, the League sponsors the Elna Friedstrom Awards, which are presented to members of the Topeka Youth Ensembles.

Volunteers usher at Symphony concerts and assist with audition days for Youth Ensembles. We also provide refreshments for the Symphony each year to kick off rehearsals in the fall.

If you would like to be a part of this fun group of people, please print and complete a membership form. Join as an individual for $10, as a contributing individual for $20, or as a contributing family for $40.
